This page is a misfit page for now, because I couldn’t quite figure out how to squeeze a bunch of information onto the front page and have it look elegant in any way. At first I was going to just have a page called “Contact,” but I also wanted to include some pictures of my dog Jonny and some pictures of my wife Shana, as well as a “Bio”-type of page, some info on how you can buy a painting if you’d like to, talk about how to discuss a commission idea, and some other stuff that I can’t think of right now.
So, let’s just get started and see where this might take us:
To purchase art:
Firstly, many of the paintings that you see in the galleries are still available for sale. Please CONTACT ME if you see something that you like. Eventually I’d like to set up a storefront here for prints and original work, but for now there are a few other options: The website www.artistbe.com has a good amount of my work listed for sale. That virtual gallery address is here. They offer high quality giclee prints on canvas in a variety of sizes, as well as the ability to “contact the artist directly” in order to purchase the original work. You can also save some time and just contact me here if that is your desire. I also set up an Etsy site here that has some crossover with artistbe, but, also, has some little abstracts that are inexpensive and exclusive to Etsy.
Commissions! I am available and very much enjoy working with people on commissioned paintings. Sometimes people will say that they like the style I’ve developed but want something more specific to an idea or thought or feeling that they have in mind. It is fun for me to work with you to express what you imagine, and again, please just Contact Me with this fancy form and we can get started! I also really enjoy doing Pet Portraits, so if you have a creature you’d like me to paint, please click that link.
Bio
With that out of the way, let us now pretend that we are at a page called “BIO”. Shana, my high-school sweetheart/long-lost-and-then-found-again-love/beautiful wife believes that it is important for you, as my adoring public and patrons, to know me. With that in mind, she wrote some bios! She is a much better writer than I, and she seems to like me quite a bit, so I thought it might be a pretty good idea. She also had the notion that a static biography makes little sense in the long run, and suggested the idea of a “living biography,” where every so often the bio would change and reflect differing aspects through a different lens. Here I present BIO #1 and BIO #2.
